B.T. Potter — Short Career History

B.T. Potter is a placekicker who starred at Clemson before beginning a professional career that has included the NFL and United Football League.

• College career: Potter played at Clemson from 2018 through 2022. He finished 73-of-97 on field goals and 234-of-235 on extra points, setting school career records for made field goals, made extra points and points by a kicker with 453.
• College honors: He earned second-team All-ACC recognition twice and was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist in 2022.
• NFL entry: After going undrafted in 2023, Potter signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and competed during the 2023 preseason.
• Spring football: With the Michigan Panthers in 2025, he made 11 of 16 regular-season field-goal attempts with a long of 56 yards, then converted both postseason attempts.
• Current status: Tampa Bay signed Potter on June 8, 2026, and he was listed as an active kicker during the 2026 preseason.
