We collect only what is useful for operating and protecting MyFootballToolbox. We do not sell personal information or use account and contact details for unsolicited marketing.

Who operates this site

MyFootballToolbox operates myfootballtoolbox.com. For privacy questions or requests, email mft2026@myfootballtoolbox.com.

Information we handle

  • Accounts: username, email address, password hash, role, status, creation date and login date. Passwords are not stored as readable text. Confirmation and recovery links are cryptographically signed and are not stored in the database.
  • Account security: login and registration or recovery records may include IP address, submitted username, outcome or action, and time. These records help limit abuse and investigate access problems.
  • Football tools and leagues: account participation may create membership, display-name, pick, result and league-history records. Relevant league information may be visible to authorized participants and administrators.
  • Email: when you contact us, our email providers process your address, message and attachments. Messages may be copied into a restricted local archive for review. The website Contact page does not contain a submission form.
  • Technical operation: the hosting provider may process IP addresses, requested pages, device or browser information and access logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies and optional analytics

Google Analytics remains off unless you select Allow analytics. If allowed, Google may process usage, approximate location, browser and device information and use first-party analytics cookies. We do not send account email addresses or usernames to Google Analytics. You can reject or change this choice using Cookie settings in the footer. The analytics-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days. Login and security cookies are necessary for account operation and are separate from optional analytics.

Other services

HostGator and related hosting or email infrastructure help deliver the site and messages. Google supplies optional Analytics and hosted fonts. YouTube receives information only when its embedded player is loaded. External sites have their own privacy practices.

How long information is kept

  • Account information is kept while the account is active and as reasonably needed for security, administration and applicable requests.
  • Login and registration or recovery security records expire after 30 days when the account database is next accessed, unless an investigation hold is active.
  • League membership, picks and results may be retained to preserve league and season history.
  • Resolved contact correspondence has a target of deletion within 30 days. This is a manual process; restricted local archives and backups may retain copies until they are reviewed or rotated.
  • Hosting logs, backups and Google Analytics data follow the applicable provider settings and operational schedules.

The former custom visitor and IP-location collector has been retired. Its historical databases are held in restricted recovery storage outside the public website and are not used for routine visitor profiling.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide accounts and football tools, administer leagues, secure and maintain the site, respond to messages, correct problems, and understand website use when analytics is allowed. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with service providers, authorized league participants, or when reasonably required to protect rights, safety, the service, or comply with law.

Your choices

You may reject optional analytics without losing access to public football content. To request access, correction, account closure or deletion of information associated with you, email mft2026@myfootballtoolbox.com. We may need to verify the request. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, record integrity, legal obligations or another legitimate operational need.

Children

MyFootballToolbox is a general-audience football website and is not directed to children under 13. Public accounts are intended for people age 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

Security

We use HTTPS, password hashing, access controls and restricted storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and do not send passwords, sign-in codes or sensitive documents by email.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date above will be revised when material wording changes.
