What happens if a team does not submit a pick in time?

A team whose Draft clock expires can still make its selection, but the next team may pick first.

The Draft does not simply erase the late team's selection. Instead, subsequent clubs may submit their choices while the late club is preparing its card, creating a risk that another team selects the desired player.
