How Many Quarterbacks Should I Draft in Superflex?
Most Superflex teams should draft at least two NFL starting quarterbacks, and a third can provide valuable injury and bye-week protection.
The exact number depends on league size, bench space, and how many NFL starters remain available. In a 12-team league, 24 quarterbacks are needed if every manager starts two. That leaves little waiver depth, so entering the season with only one reliable starter creates substantial risk.
A third quarterback is most useful when that player has a stable starting job or a realistic path to one. Do not ignore running back, wide receiver, and tight end needs merely to collect quarterbacks, but recognize that usable quarterback depth often retains trade value in Superflex formats.
