What is a fantasy football lineup?

A fantasy football lineup is the group of players whose points count for a matchup. Managers place eligible players into starting positions such as quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, FLEX, kicker, or defense according to league settings.

Players left on the bench remain on the roster but normally do not contribute to that week's score. Starting choices should be reviewed before kickoff because platforms commonly lock players when their games begin.
