What Is Half-PPR?

Half-PPR is a fantasy scoring format that awards 0.5 points for each reception.

A player who catches six passes earns three reception points before adding points for receiving yards and touchdowns. Half-PPR sits between standard scoring, which typically gives no points for a catch by itself, and full-PPR scoring, which gives one point per reception.

The format slightly increases the value of players who receive regular targets, especially running backs involved in the passing game and high-volume wide receivers. Exact scoring can still vary, so confirm your league settings before ranking or drafting players.
