What Is Superflex in Fantasy Football?
Superflex is a fantasy football lineup position that can usually be filled by a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, or tight end.
Managers normally use a quarterback in the Superflex spot because quarterbacks tend to score more points consistently than the other eligible positions. A starting lineup with one normal quarterback position and one Superflex can therefore start two quarterbacks.
This increases quarterback demand throughout the league. In a 12-team Superflex league, managers may collectively need 24 weekly starters before accounting for bench depth, injuries, and bye weeks. As a result, quarterbacks are generally drafted earlier than they are in one-quarterback formats.
