What is confidence pick'em?

Confidence pick'em adds weighted values to game selections. A participant usually assigns each available number once—for example, 1 through 16 when there are 16 games—with the highest number placed on the pick considered most likely to win.

Correct selections earn their assigned confidence points, while incorrect selections earn none under the common format. Exact scoring, treatment of ties, and rules for weeks with fewer games depend on the pool.
