How to Set Your Fantasy Football Lineup

To set a fantasy football lineup, move eligible players from your bench into each required starting position before their games lock. The platform will show which positions each player can fill.

Check availability

Review injuries, bye weeks, depth-chart changes, and game times. A player who has already begun an NFL game normally cannot be moved. Replace inactive players whenever a legal alternative is available.

Compare weekly options

Consider expected opportunity, opponent, scoring format, and role. Avoid choosing solely from the previous week's points. A stable workload is often more useful than one unusual touchdown.

Preserve flexibility

When two eligible players have different game times, place the earlier player in a fixed position and the later player in FLEX when possible. If news changes, FLEX provides more replacement choices.

Save the lineup and check it again near kickoff, especially when a player has a game-time injury decision.
