Standard vs Half-PPR vs PPR Scoring

Standard, half-PPR, and full-PPR are common fantasy scoring formats. Their main difference is the value assigned to each reception.

Standard scoring

Standard scoring normally gives no point for the catch itself. Receiving yards and touchdowns still count, so efficient players and touchdown scorers can remain valuable.

Half-PPR scoring

Half-PPR awards 0.5 points per reception. A player with six catches receives three reception points in addition to yardage and touchdown scoring.

Full-PPR scoring

Full-PPR awards one point per reception. High-volume receivers, pass-catching running backs, and frequently targeted tight ends gain the greatest relative benefit.

The formats do not change every ranking equally. Target volume raises a player's floor in PPR, while rushing volume and touchdowns remain important in all three. Use rankings built for your exact scoring system.
