What Is a Fantasy Football Draft Board?

A fantasy football draft board is a visual record of the draft. In a snake draft, it usually displays each manager in a column and each round in a row, with selected players placed in the appropriate cells.

What the board shows

The board helps managers track which players and positions have been selected, who picks next, roster construction around the league, and when positional runs are occurring.

Digital and physical boards

Online platforms update the board automatically. In-person leagues may use a printed board and player labels. Personal draft sheets can supplement either format by tracking tiers and preferred targets.

Use the board to understand the room, but do not copy opponents automatically. The best response to a position run may be selecting value at a different position.
