When Should I Draft a Quarterback?
In a typical one-quarterback league, you can often wait because several usable NFL starters remain available. An elite quarterback may justify an earlier selection, but passing on strong running backs or receivers carries an opportunity cost.
Use quarterback tiers
If several quarterbacks have similar projections, waiting can make sense. If the final quarterback in a trusted tier reaches your pick, selecting that player may prevent a larger drop.
Superflex is different
In Superflex or two-quarterback leagues, quarterbacks usually move into the earliest rounds because each team may need two starters and waiver replacements are limited.
League size, passing-touchdown value, rushing production, and opponent behavior all matter. Avoid following one universal round rule without checking the format.
