He helped IMG post an 8-0 record in 2020 and a 9-1 record in 2021, then played in the 2022 Under Armour All-American Game. Earlier, he recorded 11 interceptions as a sophomore at Norview.

Everette played four seasons at Georgia and started throughout his final three years.

After contributing as a reserve in 2022, he started every game in 2023 and 2024. In 2024 he recorded 58 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles, then started 13 games in 2025 and returned a fumble 47 yards for a touchdown in the Sugar Bowl.
