A three-year letterwinner at Burlington, Rogers was a first-team all-conference selection in 2019 and a second-team honoree in 2018. He was a team captain as a senior and ranked No. 45 in NJ.com's Top 50 recruiting list. In 2019 he made 60 tackles, three pass breakups and one tackle for loss while adding 11 receptions for 273 yards and three touchdowns on offense.

College Career

Rogers began at Northern Illinois, appearing in 15 games from 2020 through 2022. He started the first five games of 2021 before a season-ending injury, then returned in 2022 to make two interceptions in the opener against Eastern Illinois and earn MAC West Division Player of the Week. At Rutgers from 2023 through 2024, he played 24 games. In 2023, he recorded 19 tackles, six pass breakups and returned a blocked punt 17 yards for a touchdown against Indiana. As a 2024 starter, he totaled 34 tackles, a sack, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a 52-yard pick-six against Howard.
