What is a receiving touchdown?

A receiving touchdown results from a completed forward pass. The scorer can catch the ball in the end zone or reach it after the catch.

For example, a short screen followed by a long run into the end zone is still a receiving touchdown. The passer also receives a passing touchdown, but the team scores only one six-point touchdown. A two-point conversion catch is recorded separately.
